Whether we are producing work for custom clients or design-build contractors, our goal at Davis Architecture, Inc. is to provide each client with a level of service that is tailored to their needs. Our twenty years of experience with the construction process enables us to keep our eyes focused on the final goal as every element is added to the building.
Davis Architecture, Inc. is organized to provide the services needed for commercial and residential clients as well as design-build contractors looking to partner with an architectural firm. We can also assist with exterior renovations and interior renovations of all sizes. One of our most important services is providing architectural services for all phases of various religious projects.
By providing full architectural services and any necessary engineering services, we help clients achieve their architectural and construction goals.
Davis Architecture can provide full architectural services in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, and Alabama.
Matthew J. Davis
Mr. Matthew Davis, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, is the founder and president of Davis Architecture, Inc. He has served as Project Architect since 1995. He and his firm have continuously maintained, in good standing, licensure during this time. He has organized and led design teams best suited for the scale of each of project so that his client's resources are put to the best use. Services include consultation, design, and construction administration.
Matt graduated from Clemson University in 1987 with a Bachelor's of Science. He later returned to Clemson University, earning a Master's degree in Architecture in 1992. He is a member of the many professional associations including:
- AIA (American Institute of Architects)
- NCARB (National Council of Architecture Review Boards)
- LEED Accredited Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
- Rotary Club of Spring Valley (Past President 2006-2007)
Christian Schnider serves as project manager and has eighteen years of experience with Davis Architecture. With experience in design and construction administration services, he has demonstrated expertise in interpreting and implementing architectural concepts. He has a talent for establishing a rapport with contractors, estimators, project managers, engineers, and clients. He has expert knowledge of residential and commercial building codes, code compliance, and in the inspection of such disciplines in the construction field. He has earned degrees in business administration and community development.
Amanda Proctor holds her Associate's Degree in Architectural Engineering Technologies from Midlands Technical College, which she obtained in December of 2017. Amanda brings the knowledge of Revit (3D BIM Software) to the team, in which she is highly skilled. She has a bright and enjoyable personality which makes her a great people person and relatable. When she's not creating projects in a 3D modeling software, Amanda enjoys traveling to different states barrel racing horses and trail riding on the weekends.
Kevin Gerzema has been with Davis Architecture since 2017 serving as a draftsman. He has over 25 years of experience using AutoCAD in the architectural and structural industries. His years of using AutoCAD and communicating with clients and coworkers enables him to efficiently produce architectural plan sets for commercial and residential projects. The years working in the profession have taught him valuable lessons that are put to use every day and he continues to learn something new with each project. In his spare time, Kevin can be found coaching a middle school archery team or playing golf.
Nathan Swift serves as an intern for Davis Architecture. He graduated from Ben Lippen High School in 2015 and is currently in the architecture program at Clemson University. He photographs and documents past and current projects, as well as day to day tasks at the firm including AutoCAD document preparation. Nathan also helps maintain the Davis Architecture's website.
